Surprise

Located 30 miles from downtown Phoenix, Surprise is home to nearly 127,000 residents who enjoy clean, safe neighborhoods, a family-friendly environment, emerging employment centers, and top-rated schools. Recreation is also big in this beautiful Sonoran Desert community. Surprise Stadium is the spring training home of Major League Baseball’s Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals. The 25-court Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex, the largest in the Southwest, attracts tennis legends and USTA tournaments. The White Tank Mountain Regional Park offers 30,000 acres of hiking, biking and camping opportunities. Learn more at www.surpriseaz.gov.

The city’s four major developments represent a cross section of regional retail, recreation/hospitality, headquarters/manufacturing and business incubation/innovation. The Loop 303 has six dealerships with three dealerships expected in 2016. The square-mile City Center development has $250 million of new city facilities and infrastructure with two hotels and a luxury apartment complex. Located 1-mile south of the City Center, the Southwest Railplex is a 2-square-mile suburban industrial/business park with four corporate headquarters, a foreign trade zone and over 400 acres of rail served property. Finally, the AZ TechCelerator is 60,000-square-feet of city-owned office space dedicated for business development and innovation.
